In today's post, an old coworker/work BFF joins me at my new job.  And let me be the first to say this: The dream team us back in business literally – quite literally.

Hi, friends! Welcome back to another blog post.

Today was a good one, although if I'm being honest, it was pretty dang boring.  Because pretty much all I did was work.  (Gotta love that Monday through Friday 9-5 grind, ya know?)

I actually went into the office today for quite a bit, so that was riveting.

One of my old coworkers/best work friends from my teaching days actually just started at my company, and today was her first day.  So helping her get settled in/situated at the new job was the primary motivation behind this Monday office adventure.

But what’s even better than working together again is that we're not, like, just coworkers again – we’re teammates. So the fact that we'll get to work together so closely is really freaking awesome.

Because I'm not gonna lie. We were kind of the (self-described) dream team at our last job. So I’m really glad that the new job worked out!

And then when I came home, I pretty much didn’t do anything for the rest of the day (lol). Josh and I went grocery shopping at one point – and that was just about the full extent of our activities.

We had dinner (buffalo tofu wraps tonight – yum!). Jammed to some Tortured Poets Department while we cleaned the house. Watched the new episode of Not Dead Yet, watched a couple more episodes of Superstore

And... that was about as exciting as we got.

I think we were in bed by like 8:45 PM. So not exactly the most eventful day, by any means, but it was a good one, nonetheless.

So until tomorrow, my friends 👋🏼 And thanks for reading!
