In today's post, we're off to a late start – and having a late night, once again. My sleep schedule is just always so janky on the weekends...

Hi, friends! Welcome back to another blog post.

Today was a good one – and it got off to a very slow and late start.

We slept in pretty like late – like 10:00 or so, which was pretty uncharacteristic for us. But we were also out pretty late Friday night, so I guess the late start makes sense.

Once we got up and moving, though, we got some exercise, ran some errands, and did some shopping, mostly because I needed some new work clothes. Despite my commitment to drop some cash and give the wardrobe an upgrade, I only ended up buying a single pair of shoes, though.

I just have the hardest time shopping for work clothes. I think it’s just because I don’t wear them all too much.

Then, we went downtown Durham to this brewery called Ponysaurus for a former coworker's teaching retirement party. Except she’s not returning fully – but joining me at my on Monday! So I’m pretty excited about that. That’ll be fun. 🕺🏼

After we left Pony, we went to grab some dinner at our fav Mexican restaurant...

And then we came back home for the rest of the night.

Tonight, we watched the new episode of Quiet on Set. And then Josh fell asleep while I watched this show called the Price of Glee, which pretty much just talked about the deaths of various Glee cast and crew members.

It wasn't the most uplifting, warm-and-fuzzy show to watch alone that late at night. And honestly, it made me jumpy as fuck when I walked Raleigh before bed at like midnight (lol). But it was really interesting... So...

Yeah, anyway. That was the day. A day in which we had a late start and a late night.

So until tomorrow, my friends 👋🏼 And thanks for reading!
