This week's Wine Club feature is Bread & Butter Pinot Noir. One of my favorites!

Bread & Butter Pinot Noir is a fruity but dry red wine vinified in Napa, California. With 120 calories per serving (and low in sugar!), this delicious wine is an excellent choice if you're looking to spend under $20 a bottle.

Personally, this is a wine we consume a lot of in our household, so this is hardly an adventurous selection for this week's inaugural Wine Club. But if you're unfamiliar with Bread & Butter Pinot Noir (*gasp*), let's get into the review!

Bread & Butter Pinot Noir – Overall Thoughts

I think it's ironic that the point of Wine Club is to branch out and try new things – and yet the first feature here is probably one of my most go-to choices. (Baby steps.)

Either way, I like this wine. It's one of my favorites and go-to's for a reason. (To be honest, I have drank an inappropriately-excessive amount of Bread & Butter Pinot Noir over the course of my life.)

I just like the flavor of it, and compared to other Pinot Noirs, this one just feels very light. It doesn't sit heavy at all, which is why I think I can drink so much of it. It's almost like juice, which is probably problematic to say, but it really.

You also can't beat the fact that i's like $12 a bottle and doesn't taste like complete shit or give you a horrible hangover, because that's typically my experience with cheap reds.

This one gets five stars. A staple in our house, it's definitely a "definitely will purchase again" wine.  In fact, I'll probably buy some more tonight since we're out – and that's a cardinal sin in our household.

What'd you think?
