Hold onto your hats for this one because this post is a wild ride.
In an unforeseen change of events: Raleigh, North Carolina, graced its people with sunshine, blue skies, and a survivable-amount of humidity today.
So to take advantage of the weather, first Josh and I went for a nice, hourlong hike around Umstead State Park. Apparently, everyone else in Raleigh-Durham had the same idea. It took quite some time to snag a photo with no one in the background to mess up the *aesthetic*.
Not Pictured: The large snake [with its head held high!] we passed by. My fight or flight was too busy scrambling away from it to even *think* about pulling out my phone to snag a picture.
Then, we grabbed some spiked seltzers and sat around the pool with some friends.
And finally, we finished up the night with buffalo wings at Carolina Ale House (like the snake, photos of buffalo wings are also not pictured).
It was a great day. 😊 So I’m wondering: How’d you spend yours?
